TRENDY SCARVES: FALL WINTER 2013 2014 FASHION COLORS

You may not be a fashion addict. Yet – sorry to say - there is no way you can avoid it. Soon, if not already the case, store windows will display fall-winter 2013-2014 rich and trendy colorful garments, promising to make the coming season brighter than we can imagine. If you think fashion is ephemeral and if you don’t want to “invest” into a pricy designer dress you will wear a few times, then it is time to invest into a silk scarf. 1)  GREEN, GREEN, GREEN

Wear it in diverse tints. Sea green, lichen green, bright green, lime, emerald, jade, teal: pick the color which fits your complexion, your eyes and you hair color. But you gotta wear green. Call it cobalt, sapphire, Prussian, Ocean: Calvin Klein, Chanel, Balenciaga, Stella McCartney, they all have included blue in their fabulous collections. Capricious and versatile, Mykonos blue sounds like a reminiscence of summer. It goes well with winter white, red, green, grey, orange and many other shades. This color is a must have! 

3)  ORANGE KOI

Orange Koi owes its exotic name to a tropical fish that immediately catches the eye with its shimmering orange colors. You loved this primary color last spring. Well: good news! It’s still in. Ask Tom Ford!

4)  COFFEE BROWN 

Are you a tea drinker? No big deal. You can sip tea and still be trendy. The point is not to have coffee in your cup but in your wardrobe. Prada, Max Mara and Lanvin fell for coffee shades when they created their collections.  This hot color is a great alternative to black.

5)  MILKY 

As we just mention coffee, we logically skip to a complementary color for the coming season. Valentino is fond of milky - a softer substitute to pure white.

6)  PURPLE ACAI

Named after the purple acai berries, this dark red color is not the easiest one to wear as a total look. But a touch of purple acai is lovely with pink, black or dark green. Give it a try!

7)  YELLOW

8)  FUSCHIA
