October 04, 2014

Want to keep up with fashion? Here is the latest and cutest trend you are going to love: viva TWILLIES!

Twillies (narrow and small oblong scarves) are irresistible accessories.

They can be tied as charming headbands, adorable silky bracelets, chic mini neck scarves and … and… as irresistible bag ornaments. They are a pretty way to give your old favorite bag a more up-to-date feel and to make it unique.

Soon (stay tune) we will show more twilly styling ideas but today let’s start with the simplest, easiest and probably nicest way to tie it on your purse: the bow!

All you have to do is to tie your twilly into a fluffy bow at the bottom of your bag handle or if, you bag allows it, through a buckle or a zipper.

You can play a tone on tone color or a contrasting color:

. Tone on tone color

  • Tip #1: to avoid color clashes, prefer solid colors for your outfit. Choose them so that they are in harmony either with your handbag or your twilly.
  • Tip #2: if the weather gets cold, untie your bag twilly and use it as a neck scarf
  • Tip #3: For a nicer result, make sure you tie your twilly to the exterior side of your bag

Have fun playing with your ANNE TOURAINE Paris™ twilly!
