A TRENCH COAT AND A SILK SCARF: CHIC, CHIC, CHIC!

In fall the weather gets more uncertain and it’s sometimes hard to decide what to wear. It’s not cold enough to wear a warm wool coat; the sky is not blue enough to take any risk. Yet you want to be ready to step into the rain with elegance. Time to enjoy what are - or should be - two of your wardrobe staples: a trench coat and, of course, a silk scarf!

In 2014 2015 the trench coat makes a great come-back. Whereas for years and years it would come in pretty much the same beige color and classic shape, it now comes in many fancy shades, lengths, and cuts.

Whether you are on the “I-cannot-get-rid-of-my-beloved-old-trench” side or on the “I-need-to-get-this-new-trench-now-because-it-is-sooooo-adorable” side, a trench coat is a fabulous item. Not only does it finish the look. It is also suitable for most occasions. Whether you wear it with ballet flats or high heels, with skinny jeans or with a skirt, over a silk blouse or a cozy sweater: you will always look stylish.

Scarves and trench seem made to go together. They are the inevitable sophisticated pair. Our favorite scarf icons – Jackie Kennedy and Audrey Hepburn – showed us the way. And once again, they inspired us…
