► COLORS

Fiery hues, black-and-white combinations and icy pastels with hints of pink were among the season’s contrasting color directions.

► FABRICS

Shiny and sheer fabrics were prominent in many spring-summer 2014 collections.

► SHAPES

Oversized silhouettes and accessories were another visible theme of the season.
